Get a 40% student discount
You get a 40% discount on a 30-day travel pass and on single tickets for journeys across three or more zones. With a student travel pass, night buses and night trams are also included.

The student discount applies to students up to and including 34 years old with a valid student ID.

Update on Travel Passes
The 30-day travel pass has become cheaper for students. This means you actually save money by purchasing six 30-day passes instead of one 180-day pass.
Therefore, we have temporarily suspended the sale of the 180-day student pass for as long as the reduced price of the 30-day pass remains in effect. This makes it easier to choose the option that gives you the best value for money.
Night Buses and Night Trams in Trondheim
Night buses and the night tram operate every weekend, on Friday and Saturday nights. If you have a student or child travel pass, night buses and trams are included in your ticket. Board through the front door and show your ticket to the driver.
