Even cheaper period tickets from September 1st
From September 1st, travelling by public transport will become even cheaper. The price of the 30-day ticket will be reduced for all customer groups on buses, trams, on-demand transport, express boats and trains (train travel in zone A).
The reduced price applies for a limited period. No refunds will be given for period tickets purchased before September 1st as a result of the price reduction.
This is the price reduction
The price reduction varies depending on the mode of transport:
Bus, tram, on-demand transport and train (train travel in zone A)
- NOK 160 discount for adults, youth, students and the HjemJobbHjem ticket
- NOK 80 discount for children and seniors
Express boat
- NOK 160 discount for all customer categories: adults, children, seniors, youth and students
Temporary suspension of 180-day ticket sales
When the 30-day ticket becomes cheaper, it will be more affordable to buy six 30-day tickets than one 180-day ticket.
We are therefore temporarily suspending sales of the 180-day ticket for as long as the reduced prices apply. If you have already purchased a 180-day ticket, you can use it as usual until it expires.

- Two hours of car sharing included per month
- Train travel in zone A, between Hovin and Skatval
- Night bus travel for children, students and seniors

Background to the price reduction
Why are the tickets becoming cheaper?
The price reduction is made possible through a government funding scheme for county authorities. The aim is to make public transport more attractive and encourage more people to choose environmentally friendly travel.
We will keep you updated if there are any changes to how long the reduced prices will apply.
The price reduction is temporary
The reduced prices apply for a limited period. No refunds will be given for period tickets purchased before the price reduction takes effect.
