Ticket in the AtB app
Buy your ticket before you board. You need network coverage at the moment of purchase, and the ticket is not valid until you have received it.
If you travel on city lines in the Trondheim area, you show the ticket during an inspection. On regional lines, night buses and night trams, you show it to the driver as you board.
Get a reminder before your ticket expires
If you use the AtB app, you can receive a push notification before your ticket expires. You turn this on under My profile → Settings → Notifications.
Buy a ticket for someone else
You can send tickets to others in the AtB app – single tickets, period tickets and multi-trip tickets. Both of you must be logged in and have the latest version of the app. The ticket appears in the recipient's app and is valid there.
