
Trondheim City Bike
City bikes are a quick, easy and environmentally friendly way to get around Trondheim.
Trondheim City Bike is a bike-sharing service with around 750 bikes and 66 stations conveniently located throughout the city. Many people use it to complement their own bike or public transport – or simply as a fun and easy way to explore Trondheim.
Rental time included in the price: 60 minutes.
Facility opening hours: 06:00-24:00.
Trondheim Bysykkel and HjemJobbHjem
As an employee in a HjemJobbHjem company, you can enjoy unlimited city bike rides of up to 60 minutes at a time – all season long for just NOK 299.
There’s no start-up fee, and you can take as many trips as you like. Your season pass is always available in the app. The season pass must be purchased before May 31.
You can also choose a 30-day subscription for only NOK 79 per month. Just like the season pass, there’s no start-up cost, and you can ride as often as you want within the 30-day period.The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period.
Tip: If you have the HjemJobbHjem ticket in the AtB app, city bike rides are included for as long as your ticket is active.
How to use City Bikes
Download the Trondheim Bysykkel-app
Purchase a subscription through the link you received from your company.
Find available bicycle
Open the app and find the nearest station with a free bike. Press “Unlock” when you are at the station. You will be notified which bike is yours.
Cycle!
You can cycle as much as you want, up to 60 minutes at a time. The app keeps track of the time. By adding a payment card, you can keep the bike longer for 15 kroner per quarter hour.
Find a station
You can return your bike to any station you want, 24/7. As you ride, the app shows you stations around you with available stations.
Lock the bicycle
Bring the bike into the station until it is locked. The front light on the bike should turn green and the bike will play a sound as confirmation. Always check the app for confirmation that the bike has been delivered before leaving the station.

If there is damage or missing parts to the bike, report this directly in the app when the bike is delivered. Tap “Report damage”.
