Night bus in Trondheim during orientation week
Extra night buses operate on weekdays during the orientation period, from August 11th to August 23rd. If you have a 30-day student travel pass, travel on the night buses is included.
When Do the Night Buses Run During Orientation Week?
The extra night buses operate every weekday night from the night of 11 August through the night of August 23rd, except for the night before Monday, 17 August.
The buses depart from their starting stops at:
- 1:30 a.m.
- 2:30 a.m.
- 3:30 a.m.
On the nights before Saturdays and Sundays, all regular night buses and the night tram operate as usual.
The extra night buses during the orientation period are funded by Study Trondheim.
Where Do the Night Buses Go During Orientation Week?

You can board and alight at any bus stop along the route.
Route 102 Studentersamfundet 3 – Dragvoll – (Skovgård on weekends)
Route 102 departs from Studentersamfundet 3 (on Klostergata, on the same side as the River Nidelva). It stops at, among other places:
- Solsiden
- Moholt Student Village
- Voll Student Village
On the nights before Saturdays and Sundays, the route continues to Jakobsli and Skovgård (shown as a dashed line on the map).

Route 106 Studentersamfundet 1 - Solsiden - Lade - Strindheim
Route 106 departs from Studentersamfundet 1 (on Elgeseter Gate, just outside Studentersamfundet). It stops at, among other places:
- Solsiden
- Buran
- Lade
The route travels via Haakon VII's Gate in Lade. On the nights before Saturdays and Sundays, it continues to Ranheim and Værestrøa (shown as a dashed line on the map).

Route 113 Sentrum - Moholt - Stokkan
Route 113 departs from Dronningens Gate D1, outside Jernia. It stops at, among other places:
- Berg Student Village
- Moholt Student Village
The route operates the same way on the nights before Saturdays and Sundays.

Route 115 departs from Dronningens Gate D1, outside Jernia. It stops at, among other places:
- Nardo
- Risvollan
On the nights before Saturdays and Sundays, the route continues to Othilienborg and Vestlia (shown as a dashed line on the map).

Ticket to night bus
You can buy a night ticket in the AtB app between 1:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. You can also buy one by SMS by texting NATT1 to 2027. The SMS ticket is valid for night bus travel within Trondheim Municipality.
Night Bus Included with Your Travel Pass
If you have a 30-day student travel pass, night buses and the night tram are included. Simply board through the front door and show your ticket to the driver.
