One ticket for both bus and train

Combine bus and train with a single or periodic ticket in ticket zone A. Applies to train departures between Hovin, Skatval and Hegra stations.

With a single or periodic ticket for ticket zone A, you can travel by bus, tram and on-demand transport, as well as by train between Skatval and Hegra stations in Stjørdal municipality, and Hovin station in Melhus municipality.

Travel by train with a periodic ticket

The easiest way to buy a ticket is in the AtB app. You can also buy your ticket elsewhere, and you show it to the conductor on board. If you have a t:card, the conductor will register it on the ticket machine.

Travel within zone A

The last train station within ticket zone A is Skatval Station in the north, Hovin Station in the south, and Hegra Station in the east.

You can use a periodic ticket from either AtB or Entur. We recommend using a the AtB app – it gives you a range of additional benefits.

Travel to/from stations outside zone A

If your journey starts or ends in ticket zone A, but part of the route is outside the zone, you must purchase a ticket for that section in the Entur app.

Combine tickets from AtB and Entur
You can combine the following:

Two period tickets – one from AtB and one from Entur.
A single ticket and a period ticket – either a period ticket from Entur with a single ticket from AtB, or the other way around.

Note: You cannot combine two single tickets from AtB and Entur. If you are travelling outside ticket zone A with a single ticket, you must buy the entire ticket through Entur.

Travel by train with a single ticket

The easiest way to buy a single ticket is in the AtB app or the Entur app. The price and validity are the same – as long as you buy it in advance.

Note: If you have a 10-trip ticket on your t:card, you must scan it on a card reader in advance to activate a clip. This cannot be done on board the train.

Transfer

With a valid ticket from either AtB or Entur in ticket zone A, you can transfer freely between bus, tram, on-demand transport, and train within the zone, as long as your ticket is valid when you board.
