New prices from 2018

Tuesday January 2nd 2018, a new price and zone structure for travel by bus and tram will be launched throughout Trøndelag county.

What does this mean for you?

The new price and zone structure means fewer zones (only 13 zones compared to todays 810), equal prices, simpler tickets, periodic tickets between 30 and 180 days, and standardized discount rates for all travelers in Trøndelag. From 2018 it will be easier for customers to get an overview of what it would cost to travel from A to B. In addition, the app AtB Mobillett will be available throughout the county, so that everyone in Trøndelag from January 1st, easily can use their smartphone to buy tickets.

What’s new?

Our mobile ticket solution is called AtB Mobillett. From January 1st, the app AtB Mobillett is available for all travelers in all of Trøndelag.

With AtB Mobillett you can buy single tickets and periodic tickets in all passenger categories, and on all trips with bus and tram. Mobillett can also be used on certain boat routes. Read more about AtB Mobillett.

Remember to update the app January 1st

If you are going to purchase tickets with the app AtB Mobillett after New Year’s Eve, please remember to update the app. The update will be available in App Store and Google Play Monday, January 1st 2018.

  • TIP! Add a note to your calendar so you don’t forget.

Do you have a periodic ticket on AtB Mobillett? Please note:

If you already have a periodic ticket lasting longer than January 1st, you can use your ticket until the ticket expires, and then update the app before purchasing a new periodic ticket. But don't worry. If you want to update your app while you have an active periodic ticket, your ticket will be added to the new app.

Feel free to contact our service centre if you have any questions.

Travel without cash!

From January 2nd, paying cash for single tickets on board will be more expensive compared to using other available payment methods. One adult single ticket purchased with cash on board, will cost 23 kr extra. This applies to all bus and tram services where other payment methods are available.

We recommend all travelers to buy tickets prior to boarding with AtB Mobillett, our travel card t:card, or debit card where possible. The journey will cost less and you do not have to worry about cash. Read more about how to buy a ticket.

Student in Trøndelag?

Upper age limit for student discounts is 34 years. If you are a student, you are entitled to a discount on single tickets (traveling over 3 zones) as well as discount on periodic tickets (30 to 180 days periodic tickets).

Remember to bring your student ID when you travel. You must be able to show proof of discounted tickets. A valid student certificate must show your name, date of birth, place of study and show what semester it is valid for. One tip is to download the Student ID app from Google Play or the App Store.
